Comecei a estudar joalharia em 2004, como hobby, em paralelo com outras actividades profissionais, tendo optado por me dedicar totalmente a este trabalho em 2014. Completei o curso de joalharia do ArCo - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, e o Curso Avançado de artes Plásticas na mesma escola.

Para além de artista-joalheira, ensino história da joalharia no Ar.co, escrevo sobre joalharia para algumas revistas e faço curadoria de exposições. Exponho regularmente em Portugal e no estrangeiro e tenho peças em algumas das grandes coleções de joalharia contemporânea.

I started studying jewellery in 2004, as a hobby, while pursuing other professional activities. I chose to dedicate myself fully to this work in 2014. I completed the Jewellery course at Arco, in Lisbon and the Advanced Course in Visual Arts.

Besides my work as an artist -jeweler I teach jewellery history, I write about jewellery for some magazines and I curate jewellery exhibitions. I exhibit regularly in Portugal and abroad and have work in some of the great contemporary jewellery collections.

Board Chair of Art Jewelry Forum (since January 2025), Board Member since January 2020.
